X-Treme's XB-700Li Power Assisted Electric Bike / Bicycle has a 700 Watt Rear Hub Motor (Canada models get a 500 watt motor) similar to our XB-600 model but instead of lead acid batteries our (Li) Available in two colors (Blue on Silver and Black on Silver). Lithium line uses 26 Lightweight Lithium LiMn04 Ion Batteries that have a battery life of up to 7 to 10 years!

Sleek and stylish, the X-Treme Scooters Lithium Powered Electric Bicycle provides a fun transport option. Equipped with lightweight lithium battery technology, the Lithium Powered Bicycle can travel miles farther than other electric bicycles in its size class on battery power alone. The bike travels for up to 35 miles per charge, and goes 20 miles per hour, making it great for gas-free commuting.
While the Lithium Powered Bicycle has all the benefits of motor operation because it is equipped with an optional pedal system, you do not need a driver's license to ride the bike on the street. The electric bicycle does not have to be registered with the DMV, and if you follow the bicycle laws you should be able to ride this bike any place bicycles are allowed to operate (Per Federal Electric Bicycle Law H.R. 727).
The Lithium Powered Electric bicycle has a 700-Watt Rear Hub Motor with a solid, front and rear braking system. Front and rear shock absorbing as well as a spring-loaded seat make for a comfortable ride even on uneven surfaces. Sixteen by three inch tires on durable aluminum wheels provide stability and traction for road riding. The bike motor starts with a variable speed control twist throttle, and the bike comes equipped with a kickstand, tool kit, and a storage box with a key to store valuables.
The Lithium Powered Bicycle features state-of-the-art, lightweight battery technology that powers the 700-Watt motor. The bike is equipped with 26 Lightweight Lithium LiMn04 Ion batteries with a life of seven to 10 years. The bike runs for 25 to 35 miles per charge and can still be pedal operated when out of battery power. A Smart Charger is included with the bike.

I expected a little whine like the little kid power wheels but this bike is very quiet. The only issue we have had with the bike was when we got the bike the charger was set wrong so the bike didn't charge. We contacted x-treme and they helped us over the phone. This has been a great value. If you have a child who can't drive yet but has places to be this is great for them or if you like the feeling of a scooter but not the cost this electric bike does the trick. We estimate this bike to go 35-40 miles on a charge if you don't use the headlights. We are not sure how far with the headlights. We believe they do drain the battery a little faster but we haven't check the distance using the headlights the whole time. My family loves this bike. I weigh about 185lbs and mine actually cruises at about 26mph on level ground. It goes usually about 20 uphill, but I have had it go as slow as 15 on steeper hills. Anyway the only problem I have had with it so far is when i wrecked it into the side of my house. But that was human error. As far as the bike goes, it works great. It takes about 3 hours to charge, which is fine. I rode it about 20 miles without any problem, the meter still showed a full charge. The only bad thing that happened is that I broke the windshield when I was trying to install it. It is made of cheap plastic and is insanely fragile. I am still waiting to hear back from x-treme scooters to see if they will send me one at no extra cost. Also, don't try and use the pedals. Theyre pretty worthless other than for legal purposes. It was delivered a day ahead of Amazon's estimated delivery date - nice. The bike is bigger then I expected, it's a full size moped. The pedals are a joke and very awkward to actually pedal. I only installed them in case I ever get pulled over by an officer while on a side walk - "...look officer, it's a bicycle..." Assembly took a solid 1.5 hours including unpacking. The packaging was a nightmare, not sure how I'm going to dispose of the metal structure used to hold it inside the box - guess I'll have to cut it up to fit in the recycling bin. It came with all the necessary tools for assembly but I found it helpful to use some of my own - a 10mm & 14mm socket and ratchet, a short shaft phillips screw driver, and a 16mm wrench if you intend to put the pedals on.
