This review is from: TSG All Terrain Knee Pad (Sports) Can't speak for skateboarding, but in derby, these would work well for smaller skaters who struggle to fit into other pads or for those who want good protection without a lot of bulk. Most non-custom pads slip around on my legs because they are too long; these stay in place, I haven't fallen on them yet, or not unintentionally, but I can do knee taps on quad skates without feeling a thing. That's more than I could say about my Pro-Tecs. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: TSG All Terrain Knee Pad (Sports) They provide good knee protection but one of the pads ripped after only a few practices (use for roller derby). For the cost I expected better quality. Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: TSG All Terrain Knee Pad (Sports) So these knee pads were recommended to me by a derby teammate. She loves them and had knee problems until she used them. Everyone is different with the gear they like. I tried these pads at practice and my knees were black & blue by the end of the 3 hours. I'm sticking to my 187s for practice and I'll use these at the rink to protect me from accidental mishaps. |
