I've been wearing race helmets for the past decade or so and recently switched to softboot snowboarding so I decided to get a skate-style helmet. I wanted speakers in it - Check. I wanted classic skate styling - Check. I wanted a reasonable price - Check. I wanted it to fit my head well - Check.

The sound quality is reasonable for what amounts to free speakers in a helmet. I can hear the music playing while I ride, and that's really all that I wanted since I'm focusing on snowboarding, not the nuances of my music. Low range is somewhat weak at lower volumes, but when you turn the volume up over the wind it's fine.

The helmet itself is comfortable, but the large feels like it's about 1/4 size too big on my head. Thin beanie - problem solved (but this doesn't help with music quality at all), but it fits well enough without it. My Salomon by Uvex helmet was a large as well.
