Night and day difference in comfort. You really forget you are wearing a lid

with the Triple 8. The terry cloth lining keeps sweat from running down your face

in the deep south. For bombing big hills at speed, I'll stick to the hard foam or

full face helmet, but for general cruising/ freeriding on my longboard I'm wearing

this one.

I can ice skate, but not like a star. Being in middle age, I decided to wear protective gear when I attempt to learn new things on my figure skates. Glad I did that. It gives me confidence to try things. Your results may differ!

I got this helmet for ice skating. Just right. My head size (carrefully measured) was the maximum for the size helmet I bought. Rather than wear a slack helmet, I got the one that should just barely fit, and I'm glad I did. Sizing was exact. It was snug, without being "tight." In a few days, it fit even better. Note that I wear this in an indoor rink, so I don't need to keep my head warm. If you plan to skate outdoors in the cold, then get a size large enough to accommodate your hat. Also have a look at the kind of headgear (thin shell over top of head, covers ears) that skateboarders wear under such helmets.

Great looking helmet. Very stylish so the kids will wear them. I bought this for my grand son at Christmas. He wears it all the time. Best product I have purchased in years. A real life saver.
