He was jazzed after seeing the promo. I had read about it a few years ago, and was intrigued. The first one was going to take 6 weeks to be delivered. I saw the same one on Amazon a month later, ordered it, and received it within 5 days. The first one came a week afterward (6 weeks). We love them. We're both over 50, and I'm uncoordinated. I tried rollerblading 15 years ago, but quit after falling and hurting my hip. The Trikke uses a lot of the same movements, uses a lot of different muscles, is fairly portable and is FUN. We just got back from a Trikke ride, and not only do my legs feel good, but I can feel it in my shoulders, arms, hips and abs! Riding again tomorrow. 38 of 39 people found the following review helpful: By Captainbob (Atlanta) - See all my reviews This review is from: Trikke T78CS Bike - Black (Misc.) I saw an Infomercial a couple of months ago and decided to order the T78CS. I did for several reasons, it comes with the poly wheels which makes it easier to learn and once you are going you can order the air wheels kit for $50 and now you have a T78 air which gives you a much smoother ride, especially on rough surfaces. I have ridden the T8 which is almost twice the money as the T78, and I like the T78 better. It has a better folding mechanism and while it is 3 pounds heavier that the T8, that is almost undetectable when you are riding it. I like the non-slip foot pads better on the T78 than the T8. The reason the T8 is more expensive is it is made out of aluminum which is more costly to manufacture than a steel frame. I ride my T78 about 7-9 miles per day and in two months I have already lost about 12 pounds. It is fun exercise and addicting. 13 of 13 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Trikke T78CS Bike - Black (Misc.) easy to learn to ride. great workout. meet a lot of new people who want to know more about your toy and even enjoy "trying it out". The smaller unit might be a better fit for young people and women for handling. A little less cumbersome getting in and out of a trunk, for instance. |
