The X-500 rides on the latest technology and features 10" air filled tough tires, Aluminum Mag wheels, and features both front and rear vented disk brakes. The X-500 is the superior kids fast electric scooter. This scooter cannot be broken. The frame is made of high tension steel, the deck is made of high grade Billet Aluminum, these 2 features alone make this the toughest scooter on the market today. Bladez makes a similar one to this, their scooter has less power (350 watts) and less batteries (only 2 batteries) instead of 4 batteries like the X-500 has. The scooter has been a championship model for Bladez and now the X-500 will compliment it with more features such as 2 additional batteries and nearly twice the power plant at 500 watts. This review is from: The Electric X-500 Electric Scooter (Misc.) this is a terrible product from a company that should not be in business. the scooter never worked...their solution was to send me a couple of neew components nad have me install. when that did not work, they had me run test after test after test...to no avail. the scooter does not work to this day. i filed a complaint with amazon...amazon did a lousy job of investigating and determined that the warranty was expired (30 day warranty!). of course it expired...they took a week each time to respond to my requests for help. the warranty was half over by the time i got the scooter after ordering it. i am disputing the charge through my credit card company, hope that gets my money back. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, I BELIEVE YOU WILL EXPERIECE THE SAME THINK I DID. BUYER BEWARE!!! am happy with its design EXCEPT, the front brakes on my scooter would not assign properly to the braking disk. The instruction manual looked like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy and really could not be more uninformative or clear. Instructions to adjust the front brakes stated they were pre-aligned at the factory, however when I went to assemble them around the front wheel disk, they had to be loosed so both pads, magnets only, and after that, the brake system just didn't work right. I emailed tech support numerous times but haven't received one response yet. And I suspect that my front tire was used since its treads are suspiciously shallow. It has a good solid frame and battery life. I blew my first fuse only a couple days after use and since then, according to the other customers complaint about the fuses blowing, I carry...Read more |
