Summary: Excellent toy I rode when I was a kid 2008-03-31
Comment: I remember playing with this toy when I was a little kid. Amazing that I stumbled on this, while searching for toys made in America. I absolutely love and loved this toy when I was a kid. It's sooo much fun, similar to the award winning plasma car, though, with this one, you are sitting lower to the ground. I think you have less chance of tipping over. I played with this thing so much when I was a kid, and have now bought it for my son. I totally recommend this toy for any child.
He loves it also. This is an amazing toy.

Comment: The product was sent to my billing address & not to my current winter address, necessitating an additional $48.00 shipping charge & an 8 day delay in receipt. Way past Xmas. Terrible experience.

Summary: Don't call it exercise! 2008-01-14
Comment: My husband and I decided to buy the grandkids these Flying Turtles. Little did we realize we were giving "fun" as a gift for Christmas. Our 9 yr old girl and 6 yr old boy squealled with delight and liberated their turtles from their cartons. Off to the basement onto the cement floor. "Come see us, Grammy" were the shouts from below. As I came down the stairs, a purple then a green "turtle" passed me as they swerved about on the riding toy,moving about with ease,but working the handlebars at a fever pitch. They love them I thought, but we better not tell them its good exercise!

Comment: The flying turtle was a Christmas gift for my daughter, and she loves it. She rides it in the house on our hard floors, and she will spend hours going around and around on it.

Summary: Not Bad If Conditions Are Right 2008-01-06
Comment: This is a fun toy and the kids get a lot of amused looks when they ride on it. It works well when the conditions are right, and not at all when they are wrong. The "right" conditions are a flat and smooth surface (asphalt or concrete - doesn't matter) that is completely free of gravel or any any debris. Under those conditions, the design works fine. Just sit on it, start moving the handles, and the motion of the front wheels "magically" pulls you along. A little pricey for what you get and the limited usefulness, but it's a fun toy if the price doesn't matter and you have the right space to use it. (Let me emphasize again - if you don't have these conditions, you'll NEVER use it.)
