Summary: Kids Love It - Worth the Money 2010-06-13
Comment: My son got this for his 8th birthday, and he loves it! Assembly was a snap, since almost everything was already put together. The manual (as others have said) is a joke - they've changed the design of the cart since the manual was written, and the updates aren't in the printout (or on the web site). There's conflicting info about how to charge the cart too - but I figure it should just be treated like any other rechargeable battery. You'll need a large smooth paved area for this cart - it doesn't work too well on uneven or rough pavement, and though it can go through packed gravel, I don't think it's a good idea. So far it's been quite durable, keeps a charge for a reasonable amount of play - we feel it was a good purchase and well worth the money.

Comment: We puchased this Go-Kart about 2 1/2 years ago and our daughter still uses it today. She was 7 when we got it for her. It is fast enough but not to fast that she can not handle it. Her friends all want to ride it when they come over to play. We did have to replace the batteries about 1 year after we purchased it, but I think you have to expect that with any battery powered item like this. It will only work on hard surfaces because of the small tire size, so we have also purchased the electric 4 wheeler that is great for in the yard. You just have to remember to plug them in after each use so the batteries last longer.

Comment: The kids had a great time on these.... for three months.

Both carts quit working within a week of each other. Not happy! Turns out, the PWM (speed controller) burned out. The company has been telling me the parts are on backorder for 2.5 months now. I believe them. What I can't believe is the poor quality of the parts in the first place. Hopefully, the replacement parts will be of better quality.

I give the cart 5 stars for fun... one star for electrical quality.

If you do buy this, hope your kids have lots of patience for delays.

Summary: EXCELLENT FUN FOR OUR 4 KIDS 2010-05-01
Comment: We bought this for Christmas for our 8 year old son who loves races cars. I would have to say the only down fall is that he can't get his 13,11 and 9 year old siblings and their friends off it long enough to get a turn! We have probably clocked 30+ hours on it, had 25 different drivers (grown men too) and we haven't had any problems. We are seriously considering buying another one this month. Easy set up, easy to run. We did have a friend who was 6 go on it, he is a smaller boy and he bounced around a bit when he drove. It goes as fast as it claims to until the end of the battery charge. However, the charge lasts a good long time. We got the best price from Amazon, it arrived free shipping at my house in 2 days!

Comment: I bought this go cart for my son's birthday, what a mistake that was.
The first one was opened and I had to send it back to Amazon, which they did send me another right out.
The second one lasted one day and then would not charge ever again!
The go cart is still sitting in the garage with the box next to it!
I wasted $200.00+ on this go cart and my son's birthday was disappointing and a nightmare, he still talks of his go cart that is sitting in the garage with big disappointment.
Amazon should have to replace this go cart again! I got a 2nd dud and gave up. I really do want my money back however, this is entirely not our fault. 2 out of 2 bad, I cant say enough DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! YOU WILL BE VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. I'm still waiting on my refund for ours. $200.00.
