Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--which offers a seated ride--the E200 requires you to stand while zipping through town. But standing in the E200 isn't a problem thanks to the full-size deck and frame, which are custom designed for ages 12 and up. Once you're on the move, the variable-speed motor ramps up to 12 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk.

The long-life rechargeable battery, meanwhile, lasts for up to 45 minutes of continuous use per charge (with an eight-hour charge time), so you can easily cruise to the grocery store and back without running out of juice. Other details include 8-inch pneumatic tires for a smooth ride, a hand-operated rear brake, and such accessories as a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools. The E200, which offers a maximum weight limit of 220 pounds, is backed by a 90-day warranty.

Summary: Pain in the butt!! 2010-08-30
Comment: I bought this for my sons 12 th birthday. When we received it, it had to charge for 18 hours and thent he rear tire would not hold air. We used a bicycle pump as instructed but apparently, the tube was faulty. Had to file a warranty claim and wait for a repair for a week. Razor was no help at all and neither was Amazon!!

Summary: Riding the Razor's Edge....... 2010-08-11
Comment: My 9 yr old son and I read through the consumer reviews of 7 different electric scooters. After careful consideration, we opted for the E200. Box arrived at our front door in Hawaii within 2 days! Easy to set up, we plugged in the battery charger and left it over night. Next day we went to our local park and I let my son loose on the basketball court. This scooter is really fast. I put a baseball radar gun to clock his speed and his best was 13 mph. 13 mph for a 9 yr old riding a scooter is fast in my opinion.
After 34 charges, it still retains a decent charge. This past weekend he got 48 minutes of continuous riding time on a flat surface. Going uphill as well as rider weight will be a factor in determining riding time. The factory manual states the battery life to be approx 250 charges. You need to pay close attention to tire pressure and chain tension. After a month and a half of ownership, I am pleased with the E200.

Comment: The purchase process was a breeze. We did opt to pay for shipping and it took the entire 5 days to receive. Once received, Scooter was very easy to assemble. Works great. Only negatives, after waiting 5 days then you had to wait another 18 hours to charge it. The chain has fallen off 3 times in the past month we've had it. Otherwise, great product!!

Summary: Could have been happier... 2010-08-08
Comment: I ordered this for my sons Birthday, it arrived a day later than it was supposed to, and I was never told why. When we received it the box had a hole in it and you could see the Razor was damaged, so we emailed them and sent it back. They sent another one out immediatley which was nice, but when that one came and we opened it, we found a noticeable scuff on it. We kept it anyway after all the hassle, but it seems that the shipping is a problem. Other than the shipping problems/damages, my son and daughter love the scooter.
