Summary: Great for little tykes 2008-09-16
Comment: My son was three when he got this as his first scooter. It was much more stable than a regular scooter, but he still thought he was a big boy. Warning - they'll only use it about a year, especially if they have an older sibling with a "real" scooter. It makes a great hand-me-down, though.

Summary: good starter scooter 2007-10-05
Comment: We have (2) of them for 4year old twin boys. They were easy to assemble, seem durable in the 1 month we've had them, and are pretty easy to balance on for young beginners.

Summary: It's ok but too much too soon 2007-03-01
Comment: As an avid surfer my first thought was this scooter would help my twins develop their multi-axis balance skills. It is true that this scooter WILL ride in a way that would develop a good understanding of hip and chest weight shifting and center of gravity control however there are some drawbacks.
The drawbacks are simple. Don't expect your 3.5-5 year old to suddenly haul off and ride this scooter. It's hard for them. In fact in tests I ran with two kids (twin - fraternal with different physical ability and balance skills) niether really has fun with it and can ride a RAZOR better than this scooter. Now understand a RAZOR is a two wheel scooter and this has 3 wheels. What happened here? Perhaps they suffered so much on this scooter that the razor seemed easy.

Summary: Rear wheel design flaw! 2006-11-19
Comment: The construction and design overall are great, except for one big problem! The metal frame section of the scooter that covers the rear wheel has almost zero clearance for debris to escape. The tiniest of pebbles found on any common neighborhood road surface, no matter how clean the road, will stop the rear wheel from turning. The debris sticks to the back wheel roller and jams into the catch point since there is virtually no clearance. Look for yourself at the picture! Check out how closely the back frame follows the back wheel. This was a real bummer since otherwise the pivot design is nice.

Summary: Get em' while they last!! 2006-05-25
Comment: We bought this scooter for our [...] son and he LOVES IT! It's much safer than any other scooter out there in our opinion. I like the fact that the wheel in the back is wide and study and also the pivoting handles help avoid accidents. It was very easy for him to ride and we feel it's safe too. Overall we are very pleased with the product!!
The only problem is that all the neighborhood kids want one now...so our advice is to get one soon before the word is out and they are all gone!!
