Kettler Thunder Height-Adjustable Scooter

Yes, this is a quality-constructed ride. HOWEVER, I would not recommend buying this for 2 & 3 year olds, since it handles less intuitively than other models of scooters. Its a little bulky and requires the user to steer with the handlebars, rather than steering with the whole body, like the "Mini Kick" scooter steers. 2 year old kids (and up) fly on the Mini Kicks, zooming along everywhere very fast with great agility. The Kettler requires quite a bit more coordination; my son became frustrated with it and shows no interest because he had a bad first impression as a 2 year old. That said, it's a great quality pick for 4 years and up (or very physically advanced 3 year olds).

Love this scooter. My 3 year old has been using it for at least a year and feels like a big girl.

Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old grandson who loved it and uses it non stop when there is no snow on the ground! A breeze to put together, handsome, colorful and sturdy..Am very pleased!
