The Go-Ped GTR Roadster seamlessly incorporates all the benefits of the GSR cruiser but adds the innovative, bulletproof, time-tested CIDLI suspension system found on the top-of-the-line GTR46R Trail Ripper. As a result, the GTR Roadster meets the needs of riders who value power (the roadster includes the quiet yet powerful GPL290 engine) but don't want to sacrifice the type of plush ride reserved only for the best scooters. With the CIDLI suspension system, the GTR Roadster is capable of handling any bumps, cracks, and chuckholes thrown at it.
The lightweight GPL290 engine is paired with a centrifugal clutch and chain drive system, along with 10-inch TT tires. The 6-inch chromyl CIDLI suspension frame, meanwhile, features a unique front and rear swing arm system that makes the scooter easy to maneuver regardless of terrain. Patmont Motor Werks also added a standard welded 6061-T6 aluminum T-bar handlebar and a front-wheel-only Mad Dog disc brake. To round off the "synister black"-colored machine, Patmont included an Interceptor-style kickstand.

About Go-Ped Steve Patmont, his wife Hannelore, and their two sons Gabe and Tim launched Patmont Motor Werks (PMW) in 1985, building Go-Ped motorized scooters in their Pleasanton, California, garage for friends and family. Today, Patmont Motor Werks is a world leader in personal transportation, and manufactures its scooters in a much bigger garage--a state-of-the-art 70,000-square-foot production facility in Minden, Nevada. Patmont Motor Werks is constantly building new innovations in the portable transportation market. The company introduced the ESR750 pure electric line in 2003, a zero-emission transportation device for riders who want to reduce their carbon footprint. In 2005, the Patmont family introduced the patented Cantilevered Independent Dynamic Linkless Indispension (CIDLI). The simple yet revolutionary suspension system redefined the portable transportation market once again. Patmont Motor Werks remains family owned, with a dedicated extended family of employees, vendors, authorized dealers, and loyal customers.

This review is from: Go-Ped GTR Roadster Gas Powered Full Suspension Off Road Scooter (Sports)
I live off campus and purchased a GTR Roadster to commute to school and back. This thing is GREAT! Good gas milage, good speed (posted speeds on our roads are 25-35 mph.) My trip is about 3.5 miles round trip, and I sometimes make the trip 2 times a day. I enjoy the ride, and look forward to hitting the road, even if I am heading to class! Solid construction and good dependablity.
