Chinese 150cc scooters are usually GY6 clones (GY6 being the basic Honda (?) 150cc scooter engine, which the Chinese have created a knock-off of, hence GY6 clone). However, while Japanese, Italian & Korean build quality is generally pretty good & consistent for scooters, Chinese build quality can be all over the map, ranging from pretty good to down-right horrible (and dangerous!) The scooter I got was "pretty good", but still came with some default cheap-o Chinese parts. After purchasing and riding your scooter for a bit, I highly recommend you do a once-over on it at 500 miles or so and tighten down any bolts, screws, etc that are loose. In my case, where the muffler attaches to the underside of the engine came loose, the nuts literally loosened and came off from riding. One day the bike made a huge popping noise, and when I nursed it home I realized the cheap-o generic muffler gasket they used had blown out of the gap between engine & muffler.
